Larch-and-stone chalet with views of the Tofane and Cristallo

The larch the chalet is built from was felled in the Cadore, seasoned for three years and laid by hand: outside it has the colour of dark honey, inside the smell is that of a wood in summer. The stube, panelled in arolla pine, is the heart of the house: a green majolica tile stove, a corner bench for eight, small-paned windows onto the Tofane.

The 380 m² are spread over three levels, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms, a large living room with a stone fireplace, a walnut-and-steel kitchen. In the basement the spa with Finnish sauna, steam room and hot tub; beside it, the ski room with boot warmers and a direct exit onto the slope, for those who want to click into their skis at the door.

The 60 m² terrace faces south-west and has sun from ten in the morning. 2,000 m² garden, three parking spaces, home automation and underfloor heating. In summer the trails start at the gate.
