Piano nobile in San Marco, with painted beams and Venetian terrazzo

You arrive along a calle so narrow that two umbrellas struggle to cross, then a hallway, a stone staircase and the door of the piano nobile. Inside, 210 m² in six rooms in sequence, with painted-beam ceilings, Venetian terrazzo floors and tall windows opening onto the campiello.

Three bedrooms, two marble bathrooms, a salon with fireplace and a kitchen overlooking the back. The restoration replaced all the services while keeping the original proportions and layout. There is a lift, which is by no means a given in this part of San Marco; heating is independent.

A secluded and quiet home, despite the address: in the evening, once the shops close, the calle belongs to its residents again, and from the windows you hear only footsteps.
