Eighteenth-century piano nobile in Chiaia with open staircase and courtyard

In Naples palazzi are understood through their staircases. This one has an open staircase, with arcades onto the courtyard, that rises like a theatre towards the piano nobile; on the landing a double door opens into 320 m² of frescoed rooms, with eighteenth-century majolica floors, never replaced.
