Terraced villa at Mazzarò with views of Etna and access to the sea

From the highest terrace Etna is seen whole, its white plume stopping on the snow in winter and standing out in summer against a cloudless sky. To the right, the islet of Isola Bella, to the left the Cape; between them the bay of Mazzarò with its white sunbeds. The 1962 villa descends over four terraces of garden to a staircase of a hundred steps that comes out on a small pebble beach.

The 360 m² are spread over three levels, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, a living room with a Sicilian majolica floor, a kitchen with a lava-stone worktop and a 120 m² terrace shaded by a wisteria pergola. The garden has agaves, bougainvillea, lemons and a pool ringed with pale stone slabs.

A two-room cottage welcomes guests. Air conditioning, alarm, independent heating, three parking spaces; the centre of Taormina is five minutes by car or by the cable car that starts from the bay.
