Eighteenth-century palazzo in Tremezzo with loggia, park and landing stage

From the lake you see a cream facade with a five-arched loggia, a double staircase descending to the jetty and, behind, a park climbing the hill with camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons. It is a 1790 palazzo, built by a silk-merchant family, and it keeps their sense of measure: rooms ample but not overblown, ceilings of three and a half metres, windows that fill every room with lake.

The 650 m² comprise seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, the stucco salon, a dining room with a stone fireplace, the library and a professional kitchen with a vaulted cellar. The lakeside terrace, of 120 m², opens from the loggia; on the upper floor the main bedroom has its own balcony.

In the 7,000 m² park there are staff quarters, a greenhouse and a path to the shore. Central heating, alarm system, four parking spaces.
