Late-nineteenth-century historic villa in Santa Margherita with park and turret

Built in 1892 by a family of shipowners, the villa has the proportions of a small castle: a four-storey central body, two angled wings, a battlemented turret and a 5,000 m² park with palms, magnolias and an avenue of holm oaks. The stone jetty juts out into the gulf; beneath the turret, a small boathouse.

The interiors, of 600 m², keep a salon with a monumental fireplace, walnut panelling, painted ceilings; eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a book-lined study, a dining room with a view of the gulf. The kitchen has been rebuilt to professional standard; below it lies a vaulted cellar.

The restoration, completed in 2016, updated the services and renewed the roofing while leaving the decorative parts intact. Staff quarters, alarm, four parking spaces.
